Economic Progress Institute
The Economic Progress Institute has welcomed three new members to its board of directors.
Julie DiBari, of Newport, is the CEO of the Capacity Group and has extensive experience creating measurable, sustainable impact for organizations. For the past six years, she has also taught in the MBA program at Providence College.
Robert Ferreira, of Providence, is a principal at Duxford Capital Advisors where he is a multifaceted senior manager in consumer products, retail and financial services. He is also a co-founder and investor in early-stage ventures.
Jessica Holden Sherwood, of Providence, is a professor of sociology at Johnson & Wales University and the author of “Wealth, Whiteness, and the Matrix of Privilege: The View from the Country Club,” a look at the difficult subjects of class, race and gender inequalities.
