Rachel Flum with the Economic Progress Institute appeared on GoLocal LIVE ahead of "Women’s Economic Justice Day” at the Rhode Island State House on Wednesday.
The event is a call to increase the minimum wage to $15 (S508), close the wage gap (H5659/S509), protect against sexual harassment, ensure access to affordable childcare, and improve paid family leave.
The current list of speakers includes Senators Gayle Goldin and Ana Quezada as well as Representatives Teresa Tanzi, Marcia Ranglin-Vassel and Susan Donovan.
